Nuno Filipe Camarneiro Mendes holds a PhD in Conservation Science from the University of Florence and a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Coimbra. His research focuses on the application of spectroscopic techniques—Raman, FTIR, XRF, SEM-EDS, and LIBS—to the study and characterization of artworks and their degradation processes. He has also contributed to interdisciplinary artistic and literary projects. Notably, he collaborated on the projects "Havíamos Falar Disso" and "Para Que Serve" with Professor Paulo Ribeiro-Claro.
Postdoc
Matheus M. Pereira is a distinguished researcher at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Coimbra. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Professor Paulo Ribeiro-Claro, where he deepened his expertise in thermodynamics and chemical processes. With over 100 publications and more than 1,700 citations, his work focuses on thermodynamics, chemical processes, and oil studies. His research has significantly contributed to advancements in the field and has earned international recognition.
